Care

Enhancing quality of life for our residents

Individual care plans

The standard of care was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble in making Mum comfortable in her final days and everything was carried out in a thoroughly friendly yet professional manner.”

AC
Individualised care plans are tailored to match each resident’s health requirements, personal preferences, goals and outcomes. This ensures that everyone receives personalised care.

Our team of carers, nurses, and support staff are carefully selected and highly trained to deliver exceptional standards of care. We provide compassionate and professional support for all residents, regardless of mobility or cognitive ability, ensuring dignity is maintained at all times.

We work closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive timely and effective care. We are aligned with Mickleover Medical Centre, and an Enhanced Care Practitioner visits weekly to monitor and support residents’ health and wellbeing.

Protecting the health of our residents and staff is a top priority. We maintain robust infection prevention and control procedures, including enhanced measures to manage acute respiratory infections when necessary.

Nursing & Complex Care

Our experienced nursing team provides specialised care for residents with complex needs. This includes continuous assessment, planning, and delivery of care for those requiring support with daily living or ongoing medical attention, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care.

Residential

Residential care refers to a type of care provided to individuals who may require assistance with daily activities but do not need the level of medical care provided by fully qualified nurses. This level of care offers a supportive living environment for individuals who may be elderly, have disabilities, or require assistance due to health conditions.

End-of-Life Care

We are dedicated to delivering compassionate and dignified end-of-life care. Our team works closely with healthcare professionals to manage symptoms and provide comfort, while supporting both residents and their families with sensitivity and respect. Care is always personalised and adapted to individual wishes.

Respite/short-stay

We offer flexible short-term care options, ideal for family breaks, recovery following hospital stays, or additional support when needed. Stays typically range from one week to several months, with the option to transition into long-term care if appropriate.

We are not a specialist home registered for the care of those specifically with dementia and mental health needs, however we have dementia awareness. The nursing team would assess any resident living with dementia prior to admission to make sure we can fully meet their needs. If you are unsure about whether our care settings would be suitable, we are very happy to discuss this with you.
